South Nashville is home to many refugee women who would love the chance to get out and exercise, practice their English, and make a new friend.

Grab your walking shoes and join us Saturday mornings at a local park for Walk & Talk.

Opportunities for exercise and fellowship are very limited for these ladies, so plan to join us and help make a difference in the lives of our newest neighbors.

We will meet as a group Saturday mornings, plus one orientation. While walking, you’ll get to help ladies practice the English skills they’ve been learning in class. Most importantly, you’ll get to meet a new neighbor and make a new friend.

Many of the ladies don’t have access to transportation so you’ll have the opportunity to sign up to help pick up and drop off the ladies.

Orientation Meeting

TBD for Fall 2024

We’ll talk about building Christ-centered friendships with refugees, discuss cultural considerations, and give you some simple tools to start the conversation and keep it going.
