Servant Group International (SGI) is a non-profit Christian organization headquartered
in Nashville, Tennessee. Through outreach, education, and discipleship, SGI teams
work to share the truth and beauty of Jesus with our Muslim friends. Our hope is
to see the gospel bless and transform Muslim families and communities for generations
to come.
We were founded in 1992 to help meet the needs of thousands of Kurdish refugees from
north Iraq who found a safe haven in Nashville following the first Gulf War.
Since then, our ministry has grown to include programs in several Middle-Eastern
countries in addition to our initial work among U.S.-based Muslim refugee communities.
We are a non-denominational agency with team members joining from a variety of backgrounds
and denominations. Our obedience to Christ and our heart to see the blessings of
Christ's kingdom extended in a generational capacity throughout Muslim communities
unites us in ministry.
SGI is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is funded through the tax-deductible
gifts of churches, individuals, businesses and foundations.
